I’m a designer/curator, stylist and author. Originally from New Zealand, I now run my design studio in London where I create and curate high-quality homewares and interiors.
The idea of home - a place where you are protected, nurtured and up-lifted - has always driven me. It’s more than just bricks and mortar, it’s a place to put down roots, make history and a family (whatever form yours takes).
I believe home (and life) should be filled with practical, precious and personal things. It’s about mindful living – thinking about what we have, where it comes from and what it means to us, rather than mindless consumption of the next fad or trend.
Designing and curating makes me happy, whether it’s sketching a quilt design, researching homeware collections or getting my hands dirty in the garden.
I’m lucky enough to be able to share my approach through teaching workshops on interiors and contemporary quilting, and through books that I have written and styled.
Through my business, I know that good design can change lives. So I’ve also put my efforts into creating special projects for the community, based around helping people to live better.
