For me the act of piecing a quilt is both totally practical and powerfully symbolic.

I like to think of quilts as modern heirlooms that celebrate your history or your future. They are the perfect way to mark a marriage, new life, a new start or to remember someone you loved.

I accept commissions from individuals and interior designers to create these very personal pieces.

I work on commissions in three ways:

Your Cloth - the first way is for you to provide all the necessary cloth or clothing from your own life or a life/lives that you want to celebrate.

My Cloth - the second is to commission a quilt created from fabric I provide, including vintage fabrics along with unusual and beautiful textiles sourced from around the world.

One-to-one – you (or a small group of friends) come to my studio for a day with your cloth and we work together to create your very special quilt.
